Q1’26 workstation volume hits record level

Nonetheless, it’s a record that comes with important caveats.

JPR has released its Q1’26 Workstation Report.

The global market for workstations grew by 12% in the first quarter of 2026, measured year over year. While the magnitude of gains is welcome for industry stakeholders, there are several caveats to consider along with its robust numbers.

“The numbers on the surface, while welcome, belie some important undercurrents beneath,” explained Senior Analyst and JPR Workstation Report author Alex Herrera. “While the workstation market is—and will likely remain—a healthy one, long-term concerns exist, which industry stakeholders should not ignore.”

The JPR Workstation Report series consists of two asynchronous threads of research: four quarterly issues that address the workstation and professional graphics markets, and two semi-annual issues that cover virtually every aspect of the two industries. It is priced at $9,500. A single issue can be purchased for $3,500.
