The PS5 Pro boasts improved performance, faster speeds, and increased game storage, with 45% faster rendering power than the base PlayStation 5.

According to Mark Cerny, lead architect of the PS5, the PS5 Pro features a larger GPU than the current console version, advanced ray tracing, and custom AI-driven upscaling using PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) technology, which eliminates the need to choose between Fidelity and Performance graphics modes. The feature is designed to replace existing upscaling implementations.
