Ultrabooks are defined as thin, powerful and energy-efficient notebooks that offer tablet-like features, such as responsiveness and—eventually—touch capabilities. Intel expects that 40 percent of notebooks shipped by the end of 2012 will be ultrabooks.
We went from small chips to larger ones, to multi-chip, and then gigantic chips, and now back to a cluster of smaller ones, smaller chips with tiny process nodes.

AMD continued its growth streak, reaching $5.9 billion in Q1’22, a YoY gain of almost 71%.
