Maxon entered NAB 2025 with its Spring Maxon One updates, with a focus on providing more accessibility for creators. There are new features and quality-of-life improvements across the products within Maxon One. Two big announcements include the return of Autograph, now as a free download, and expanded support for Windows on Arm devices. The headliner is what’s coming: Cinema 4D for iPad.

Today, there are many destination points for creative content—social media, streaming, gaming, and immersive media, to name a few. Workflows and workspaces have changed, too, as designers are creating wherever and whenever inspiration strikes, whether in an office or in a park. Today’s creators have evolved as well, comprising working professionals, students, hobbyists, and emerging artists, all looking for more flexible, mobile-first options.
As part of its Spring 2026 Maxon One Ecosystem release, Maxon has made the tools included in Maxon One more accessible than ever to the creative community, enabling more artists to experiment, build, and grow within a connected creative ecosystem. In addition, it is preparing for the next step in that mission, Cinema 4D for iPad.
Maxon has expanded support for Windows on Arm devices, bringing Cinema 4D, ZBrush, Red Giant, and Red Shift to a wider range of portable devices, including Dell’s tablet lineup, Microsoft Surface Pro (Snapdragon Elite), and other compatible tablets and desktop systems. ZBrush (desktop), Cinema 4D, and Red Giant tools within Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects are all available now on Windows on Arm-powered devices. Redshift is also supported on Windows on Arm with CPU rendering capabilities.
Maxon also announced the return of Autograph, now as a free download for individual users, providing motion graphics, compositing, and 2D/3D tools in a single, unified environment optimized for speed. Autograph provides a comprehensive toolset for a wide range of creative endeavors, from branded quick-fire social media videos to feature-film-and broadcast-ready assets.
Key features include a native Cloner system for dynamic, iterative animations, enabling designers to rapidly build complex motion graphics, and responsive design tools that allow simultaneous creation and adaptation across multiple aspect ratios—a plus for today’s multi-platform content landscape.
The application supports industry standards, including USD, OpenEXR, ACES, OpenColorIO, and OpenFX, and integrates with Universe and select Red Giant tools. Autograph also supports third-party OpenFX plug-ins, beginning with RE:Vision Effects, BorisFX, and Digital Anarchy.
In a coming-soon reveal, Maxon announced the debut of Cinema 4D for iPad (beta), marking the first time that the company’s flagship 3D workflow software will be available on a mobile platform. Optimized for touch workflows, Cinema 4D for iPad will deliver core 3D modeling and design capabilities in a streamlined, mobile-first interface. The iPad version complements the desktop experience, allowing artists to explore ideas and work on projects on the go.
